Safe working and rescue techniques for workplaces located at heights - basic course
After completing this course, participants will acquire extensive knowledge about the dangers while working at heights and they will be well-versed with the use of safety devices. They will be able to assess different work situations from the safety point of view and take rescue measures on their own.

Target groups:
Persons who work at heights regularly or occasionally.

Course contents:

• Basic information about accident prevention regulations for working at heights
• Dangers while working at heights from the medical point of view and their consequences
• Safe climbing and fall arrest systems
• Introduction of rescue concepts and rescue devices
• Rescue techniques
• Work situations for antenna systems
• Safe handling of safety harness (body-specific adjustment, maintenance, visual inspection and inspection before use)
• Suspension-relief and self-rescue using Prusik technique
