The Söll hot-dip galvanizing plant also provides local companies, like steel fabricators, with the option of galvanizing their finished parts. The charge for this service is dependent on the weight and type of each part.

The zinc bath has a length of 7 metres, width of 1.20 metres and depth of 2.40 metres and is suitable for all parts up to a maximum length of 6.90 metres, width of 1.10 metres and depth of 2 metres. In case of larger parts, it is recommended that their dimensions be agreed upon with the hot-dip galvanizing plant in advance.

Parts must be designed to withstand galvanizing, i.e. should not contain any internal cavities containing air that may expand at the high temperature within the bath and consequently burst. All work pieces must be free from colour, grease and welding cinder, must not be coated with welding sprays and should have been welded without any pores.
